In this virtual talk moderated by Sheree L. Greer, featured literary artist of the exhibition, Adrienne Chadwick (visual artist) | Arsimmer McCoy (literary artist) and Chastity Pascoe (visual artist) | Jasmin Lankford (literary artist) will discuss their artworks and explore their processes in creating pieces in response to their partner's artwork.

Centering an ambitious collaboration between visual and literary artist, in Tandem: Back | Forth, is a practice of ebb and flow in communion. Curated by Tayina Deravile, ten artists were anonymously paired, a visual and a literary artist, to create site specific works in reference to their paired partner’s piece. The result is the outcome of mutual exchange; a dialogue of works working alongside each other.
